Project Leadership
PHILIPPE TRINH
Curator / Creative Director, MILT Studios
Philippe H. Trinh is a Vietnamese-American creative director, photographer, and collector who has collected Vietnamese ephemera for more than two decades. His parents left Vietnam as political refugees during the war, carrying few photographs from that period. In Lost Frames, Trinh brings together images made by young American servicemen with glimpses of the Vietnam his parents knew—two lives and perspectives unfolding at the same moment, on opposite sides of the same history.
